Support
Gramarye is made and supported by the same few people. Write to support@gramarye.ai and we answer by mail, in plain words.
Help inside the app
Every screen of Gramarye is explained in the help the app carries with it: on the Mac under Settings → Help and in the Help menu, and on an iPhone or iPad under Settings → Help, behind the gear beside your assistant's name. It is written for a family member rather than an engineer, and it is the first place to look.
Reporting a problem
Choose Report a problem… in Settings. Gramarye puts your description and its activity log into an email in your own mail app, addressed to us, and you decide whether to send it. The activity log records what the app did and when, never what you wrote or what the assistant answered, and it holds no key and no password. If you would rather write to us directly, tell us:
- which device you were using, and its system version;
- Gramarye's version, shown under Settings → About;
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead, in your own words.
During the private test, TestFlight's own Send Feedback reaches us as well.
Common questions
- Where is my data?
- On your own devices, and in your own iCloud if your household keeps its archive there, encrypted so that Apple cannot read it. There is no Gramarye account and no Gramarye server. The privacy page lists everything that leaves a device and where it goes.
- Does Gramarye have its own AI?
- No. It uses the provider you choose, with your own API key, and the provider bills you directly. Apple's own models work with no key on a device with Apple Intelligence turned on, and Ollama or LM Studio can run a model on your own Mac.
- Can I get my conversations out?
- Yes, at any time. Export everything writes the whole archive in open formats readable without Gramarye, and every backup is a plain zip. Nothing is locked in.
- How do I move to a new Mac?
- Open Gramarye on the new Mac with the old one still open, and press Move here. Everything comes across, your keys included. If the old Mac is gone, restore from its latest backup instead. The help's "Moving house" walks through both.
- Can my family use it?
- Yes. A household lives on one Mac, or on an iPhone or iPad that began without one. Each person has an archive, devices and keys of their own; the owner sets each account's monthly spending cap, and a child's account has its own rules.
- What does it cost?
- Gramarye will be free to download, with fourteen free days of everything. After that, a licence for the device that keeps your household: Personal for one account or Family for up to six, bought once or by subscription, at the same price on the website and the App Store. Prices will be announced at release.
- I forgot a password, or lost my phone.
- Gramarye keeps no email address and runs no service, so every way back is on your own devices. A member's password is reset by the owner at the Mac; a lost phone is replaced with the recovery codes you made ahead of time under Settings → You. The help's "If you forget" has each road.
- How do I delete my account?
- Settings → You → Delete my account… on any of your devices; the owner can delete any account, or everything, at the Mac. Deleting is for good, so every deletion asks you to type a name first and says what leaves and what stays.
The private test
Gramarye is being tested within the family before its release on the App Store. If you are one of its testers, the same address reaches us, and we would rather hear about a small thing twice than not at all.
